We partnered with Siegel Adhesives to deliver an approximate reduction of 27,200kg in single use thermoplastic material annually

across some of our Beef processing plants, a 16% reduction in adhesive consumption.

Working with Siegel Adhesives, Ultimelt X10 Cross Linked hot melt packaging adhesive was developed and commercialized. This adhesive is used to seal cartons across our processing plant, an integral part of our business. This initiative has enhanced packaging performance and reduced packaging waste associated with carton reworks on an ongoing basis.

Implemented across our JBS Beef City, Dinmore, Townsville, Riverina, Rockhampton and Scone Beef Processing Facilities this year, this technology will be implemented across other JBS sites for further reduction in single use thermoplastic material during 2025.
