A large percentage of our daily lives are spent at the job - which is why Siegel invests so much on education, career advancement and rewarding environments. It is the primary focus of our human resource department is to meet the six physiological needs of each employee.
People fear leaving their safe harbor of the known and venturing off into the unknown. Human beings crave certainty - even when it limits them.
Creating certainty and job security is critical to finding job satisfaction. We always strive to give the assurance that while our staff are growing, contributing and striving they will always have an integral place in the Siegel team. It is our responsibility to train and offer the tools for them to turn their efforts into result.
Variety's the very spice of life, which gives it all its flavour.
Offering variety and avenues for career advancement; along with job role variety ensures sustained interested. This is critical – as there is nothing more un-motivating as lack of job variety. Our aim is to cram as much a variety into the day of each of our staff. This is through breaking each day into focus periods. We also optional job changes throughout the business and avenues for members to advance themselves to advance their roles.
Don't work for recognition, but do work worthy of recognition.
Positive reinforcement, reward and promotion opportunities ensure each individual feels their uniqueness and significance. It is one of the greatest desires of all human beings is to feel accepted – and most importantly significant. We focus on this through a peer promotion and reward system. Also by creating a culture of recognising the significance of each person – which is amplified through their differences, uniqueness and own set of values.
Communication - the human connection - is the key to personal and career success.
Refreshing interaction, inspiration and mentoring gives each individual a sense of connection. Connection gives excitement and joy to life. At Siegel we have always focussed create set periods of peer connection in the form of meetings, open discussion forums and weekly coaching periods.
The growth and development of people is the highest calling of leadership.
Learning and growing as individuals is the key to life; setting high standards and training to ensure they are reached guarantees growth. Setting high expectations for each individual is critical is promoting growth – you never know how tall a man is until you stretch him. On top of this we are continuously ensuring each individual has the tools to reach and exceed these expectations.

As our staff have the highest level of nurturing, development and training available - we strongly encourage them to pass it on, educate and give to others. Siegel is sponsoring community activities on a regular basis to provide the opportunity to contribute – we always encourage our staff to commit to these event. Further to this we reward contribution from staff members to the company. Many good ideas, improvements and systems have come from staff members taking it upon themselves to contribute to Siegel.
